Safety Plastic Bump Caps
The bump cap is designed for applications in workplaces such as meat packing, food processing, pest control, meter reading, and automotive repair. It protects the scalp by reducing exposure to abrasions and lacerations caused by minor bumps to the head.

MSA offers two types of bump caps: the standard plastic cap and a "soft" ballpark-style cap with hard plastic liner. The key word is "minor" bumps. Bump caps are appropriate ONLY for work situations which do NOT require ANSI-compliant head protection. Contact MSA if ANSI-compliant head protection is needed
